Hello, I'm Sarah! It's so lovely to meet you!

I’ve always been fascinated by people.

What motivates them. How they communicate. Why some teams work brilliantly together while others struggle. Why some businesses seem to run smoothly while others constantly feel like they’re firefighting.

That curiosity led me to study both psychology and communications at university and has shaped much of my career ever since.

Over the last 20+ years, I’ve worked across a variety of industries, roles and environments, but the common thread has always remained remarkably consistent:

Helping people, teams and businesses work better.

More than one career path…

I’ve never followed a traditional career path. I’ve managed retail teams, coordinated complex projects, organised events, supported business improvement initiatives, worked with customers, stakeholders and suppliers, and owned businesses myself. Whilst the job titles have varied, I’ve always found myself drawn to the same thing: Understanding how things work, identifying what’s getting in the way, and helping people make meaningful progress.

What I bring to the table

Clients often tell me that I bring a combination of practical thinking, organisation and calm when things feel overwhelming. I’m naturally curious, highly organised and love getting under the bonnet of a business. Whether it’s a process that no longer works, a project that’s lost momentum, a customer experience that needs improving, or an idea that’s been sitting on the “one day” list for too long, I enjoy helping business owners create practical solutions that move things forward.

Why independent businesses?

Having owned businesses myself and worked closely with business owners throughout my career, I understand the realities of running a business.

The competing priorities.

The constant decision making.

The challenge of balancing day-to-day operations whilst still trying to grow.

That’s why I enjoy working with ambitious small and medium-sized businesses that care about their customers, their teams and the future of their business.

Outside of work

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me exploring Yorkshire, travelling, organising events, enjoying good food with friends, or planning my next adventure.

I still believe that businesses thrive because of people, relationships and communities, and that’s a philosophy that shapes both my work and my life.
