Who can attend the Ripon Business Social?
The Ripon Business Social is open to business owners, freelancers and professionals in Ripon and the surrounding area. It’s informal, with no presentations, pitches or formal agenda.
What is Ripon Women Business Network?
Ripon Women Business Network is a relaxed community for female founders and women in business in and around Ripon. Regular meet-ups give women the chance to connect, share experiences and build relationships without traditional networking pressure.
Do I need to be based in Ripon?
No. You’re very welcome if you’re based elsewhere in North Yorkshire or the surrounding area. If the event feels relevant to you, come along.
Are the networking events free?
Many of my networking and community events are free, although some special events may have a ticket price. The cost will always be clearly shown on the individual event listing.
Do I have to book in advance?
Usually, yes. Even where an event is free, booking helps me manage numbers and make sure the venue is suitable. You’ll find the booking link on each upcoming event.
Are your events formal networking events?
Generally, no. I prefer relaxed events built around genuine conversation and connection rather than pitching, forced introductions or collecting as many business cards as possible.
